“Naval maritime sector is not a novel experience for us Sri Lankans. We had a strong force of Navy since the time of great king Mugalan, that had strength to cross the Indian ocean to encroach and conquer the kingdoms of Chola, Pandya and Burma,” Ports, Shipping and Aviation Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva said.
