New State Ministers sworn in

Thirty-seven state ministers were sworn in today by President Ranil Wickremesinghe. Accordingly, a total of 37 parliamentarians took oaths in their new state ministerial portfolios. The government can appoint 40 state ministers in terms of the constitution.
