President inspects plant tissue culture centre, mushroom seed production unit at Bindunuwewa

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa inspected the plant tissue culture centre and mushroom seed production unit at Bindunuwewa – Bandarawela, both of which are managed by the Uva Provincial Department of Agriculture. The centre grows tissues of flower plants and fruit plants, including banana and mango. The centre also facilitates the educational research activities of University’s Faculties of Agriculture and school children.
