Sri Lanka bans single-use plastics

The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to ban the importing, selling, using and distribution of 7 single-use plastic products effective from 1st June , 2023, Cabinet spokesman, Transport ,Highways  and Mass Media Minister Bandula Gunawardana said.
