‘Sri Pada’ season begins with adherence to COVID-19 guidelines

Nuwara-Eliya District Secretary Nandana Galaboda urged all pilgrims to adhere to COVID guidelines as the Sri Pada season begins yesterday  with the bringing of the statue of ‘Deity Saman’ in a religious procession from Galpoththawala Raja Maha Vihare in Pelmadulla, where it is kept for the rest of the year .
