Troops carry flood-affected O/L candidates to safe place

Due to heavy overnight rains that fell in the Puttalam area, the GCE (Ordinary Level) examination centre at St. Andrews Central College in Puttalam was flooded this morning. The Sri Lanka Army came forward in providing assistance to rescue more than 150 candidates to a safe place in the same school.
