Why a booster shot for COVID-19?

Professor Neelika Malavige of the Department of Immunology Molecular and Molecular Medicine of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura said yesterday that getting booster vaccines for COVID-19 is not unusual and this has been a practice to control other infectious diseases.
