If we make earth a hell then does it matter that we die and go to hell?

What is this life? Is it competition? Is it going to last forever? Is it drudgery? Is it pieces of very expensive paper? Is it something we should memorise? Is it something we should barter? Is it something we need doctors to doctor? Is it found in tall buildings? Can it be taught? What is its purpose? Is it meant to be sung and laughed and danced? Why then are we not doing it? Is it a mere set of rules? Is it following rules which will take us to heaven? What is heaven? What is hell? Is stress in heaven or hell? Is war in heaven or hell? Is there a competition between gods? Is your god better than my god? How do we know who is better?

Why should we study? Why should we work? What is study? What is work? What is love? Why should we love? Who should we love? Should we love only friends? Who is a friend? Why do we have enemies? Who should do better? Me or my friend? Does it matter who does better? Did we ask to be here on earth? Do we know for how long we are here? Where do we go from here? What is paradise? What is moksha? What is nirvana? What is the opposite of these?

What is attachment? What is detachment? Why is a school and a place of worship two separate entities? Is not education a worship of a different kind? Why is education today a system? Are we not the idols of ourselves in this education system? Why does education have to be a system? Why is religion also like a system? Is the kernel of religion spirituality? What is spirituality? Is spirituality for the living or the dead? Is the word spirituality linked to our very breath – the spirit – the prana?

If we make earth a hell then does it matter that we die and go to hell? Who told us to kill for religion? Are babies born with labels of caste, creed, religion and class branded on their backs? Do we have a choice of who we are born as? Then why do we spend a lifetime defending it? Is there another way to live? A way that is not programmed? Or narrow? Or dictated to? Or brainwashed? Can happiness be bought? Can it be driven from place to place in a luxury vehicle? Why do nature have to be shaven a close crop and paraded as lawns? What is wrong with wild plants? What if we lawn trim all of nature? Who decides what is wild?

What is the difference between wild and civilised? What is civilised about us? Are wars civilised? Is watching children die everyday like flies sacrificed for small patches of land we call countries civilised? Is it civilised that some of us spend millions in a day and some of us cannot afford half a meal a day? Is it civilised that we can be happy when our neighbour is not?

Is it not civilised and decent that animals only kill to eat? What is civilised about knowledge if it is used for harm? What is knowledge? How can knowledge earn its worth? How long does it take for knowledge to earn its worth; three years or six years or nine? Can knowledge be trapped in a few letters that change how you are addressed? Is there a timeline to expertise? Does knowledge ever retire?

How do you give meaning to living a life of knowledge that is timeless?

Is what we know about the human body sufficient?

Is what we know about the cosmos sufficient?

Is what we know about trees sufficient? Do we know the extent to which trees heal us? Do we know the extent which creatures of the wild can be our friends?

Does this earth belong only to us?

Who are the real pests here?

Who are the real ignorant creatures here?

Who are the heathen here?

Where is the hospital for the earth?

Where are the medicines for the animals?

Do they need to be strapped to a hospital bed and donate all the money they stressed in a lifetime to pay as hospital bills?

Can we buy one extra minute between the destination of life and death?

Why then should life be nothing but happiness?

Why should then life be nothing but love?

Why should then life be nothing but peace?

Why should then life be nothing but sharing?

And why are we teaching ourselves the opposite?

Answer at your own pace.

There are no grades.

There are no failures.

But there may not be much time.
