We need to feed the microbiome in our bodies with food they need – which obviously has to be the raw food humans ate before the discovery of fire

This is my story. While working as Chief Engineer at Walker, Sons’ Ship Repair Division, I was recruited by the UN’s Food & Agriculture Organization (FAO) in 1974 as a Marine Engineer Consultant. Then in January 1979 I was appointed to the Fleet Management Unit, FAO Head Quarters, Rome, Italy. In January 1990 I was transferred to the Project Operations Unit before retiring in March 1998.
While in Rome I began eating the Mediterranean diet (raw salad) for lunch and found it had positive effects on my health. So on retirement I grew a natural “forest” of fruit trees and herbs around my home in Kollupitiya and experimented eating herbs and other foods raw.
My experiments resulted in curing my wife about 20 years ago of diabetes (originally 400+) and according to the doctor, of a “borderline” heart condition.
Today this healing by eating “Green Foods” methodology is explained by “New Biology” which has replaced the research done over 100 years ago using “Old Biology” (like Pasteur & Pasteurization, Lister & Anti-biotics, Jenner & Vaccines) just like “Quantum Physics” has replaced the old “Newtonian Physics”.
According to “New Biology” the atmosphere is full of living creatures, like a gas – made up of microbes, viruses, fungi, exosomes (virus-like particles from humans and animals).
This new research also reveals that our genes control only about 30-40% of our body functions and 60-70% are controlled by the microbiome. Therefore it is obvious that we need to feed the microbiome in our bodies with food they need – which obviously has to be the raw food humans ate before the discovery of fire; mainly green leaves, fruits, yams, perhaps raw eggs and raw fish (like the Japanese and certain tribes in Mexico still do).
Now you cannot just change your diet to “green foods” because existing simple carb-loving microbes could cause stomach aches, nausea, a longing for bread, rice and sweets by sending messages to the brain. So the food change has to be gradual to reduce sugar loving bugs and to increase the green guys, as explained below.
Steps to begin this disease preventing/healing money saving “New Way of Living” (which is actually the ancient way)
1. Replace sugar, bread and rice loving microbes with raw food loving microbes
1st Week – Give up bread. Rice – replace quarter of the rice with raw ‘mallums’ and curry.
2nd Week – Replace half the rice with raw mallum, salad and some curry (for spices)
3rd Week – Replace three quarters of the rice with mallums, salad and spicy curry.
4th Week – Have only a tablespoon of rice, the rest raw mallum, salad and curry.
Note: US research recommends eating at least 20 different raw leaves per week. This is easy for us as we have a huge variety of “medicinal herbs” (our original veggies).
The following month, very strictly no sugar not even bee honey, only raw mallums, salads and spicy curry, to ensure sugar and grain loving bacteria are kept to a minimum.
Then little by little, you will notice no hunger at breakfast time and so you can gradually delay breakfast till you need only a “brunch” – breakfast, followed by lunch (like I do).
You will also notice little hunger at dinner time and so dinner can be eliminated or if sharing a meal, have just a soup and a tablespoon of kurakkan, jak or buckwheat flour preparation.
Benefits for the country – much reduced imported food and medicines, reduced energy needs (due to less cooking) – and saving our Dollars.
Note: Amount of money available is fixed – like water in a tank. Money can be also grown in trees. And across fences. Like I do. Because we can eat them. Not the money. The leaves, fruits and vegetables.
