3M to showcase innovation excellence at International Dental Conference

3M ESPE will be partnering with SLDA for the forthcoming international conference and SLDA 80th anniversary annual sessions to be held in Colombo from 27 June to 1 July 2013. The event, which is the first of its kind, is organised by Sri Lanka Dental Association (SLDA) jointly with the World Dental Federation (FDI) and Commonwealth Dental Association (CDA).
Conducted on the theme ‘New Challenges in Dental & Oral Health Care,’ the conference is expected to bring together experts in the industry from Sri Lanka and abroad making it a common platform to share experience, knowledge and the latest scientific developments in dentistry.
The conference will cover broader areas in dentistry including dental implantology, fixed prosthesis, aesthetic dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, ceramics, advances in periodontology, oral diseases and minor oral surgery. The agenda of the five-day session will include a line-up of lectures, symposia, seminars and workshops conducted by world reputed experts in the field to ensure sharing new knowledge and techniques with participants.

3M ESPE will be hosting Dr. Arvind Shenoy (BDS Mumbai University, MDS Mumbai University India) to speak at the conference on ‘Smile Designing – Restorative Management of the Anterior Dentition’. He will also be conducting a full day pre conference workshop under the same topic. Further, dental professionals who are participating at the conference will get an opportunity to experience some of the latest innovations of 3M dental products showcased during the sessions.
