Logipharma, the first Sri Lankan healthcare specialist, started its operations last week at its new office at R.A. De Mel Mawatha, Colombo-3.
Logipharma is aiming to serve all pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers and importers in Sri Lanka to get the best value for their supply chain. Its solutions are designed for companies that are just starting production and companies which are importing pharmaceutical and medical devices to comply with local regulations and special requirements with board of investments, NMRA, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Trade and Sri Lanka Customs.
Local customs clearance is one of their main services which starts the process from the PI level and makes sure that customers will not face any hindrances at the delivery level. Head of Business Development Geeshan Harshan said: “When it comes to pharmaceuticals and medical devices no one wants to make any compromises. Similarly pharmaceutical manufacturers and importers also do not want to make compromises in their supply chain.”
Logipharma has a digitalised platform that enhances supply chain visibility from the purchase order level to GRN level. This helps its customers to optimise and synchronise the overall logistics operation, improve the time efficiency, optimise stakeholder communication, eliminate unnecessary operations and data, reduce overall operational cost and manage, monitor and analyse logistics on a centralised platform.
