With an aim to provide customers the most credible pharmacist-led healthcare experience every time, HealthHub, the new groundbreaking retail pharmacy outlet held its launch and open day recently in Thimbirigasyaya.
Creating a welcoming in-store environment, HealthHub offers customers a modern retail destination to meet their health and wellbeing needs.
Offering a multi-functional pharmaceutical service and retail concept, the store gives customers access to prescription pharmaceuticals, over-the-counter medications, vitamins and supplements in addition to personal care and consumer products including body care, facial care, baby care and more.
Reflecting on its strong focus on health and wellness, most products at HealthHub aim to improve health outcomes for its customers; a selection of own branded health foods is also on offer.
Commenting on the launch, HealthHub Director TrihanPerera said, “We’ve taken the best of a traditional pharmacy and created a concept to provide customers an exceptional pharmaceutical service, healthcare, wellness products and advice, as well as value added services enhanced by the latest technology, located in the heart of Colombo. In a revolutionary leap, challenging the traditional image of a pharmacy, HealthHub has partnered with oDoc, the cutting-edge unique local app which provides doctor consultations and instant e-prescriptions, enabling walk-in customers to seek a doctor’s advice should they require it.
HealthHub becomes the very first local pharmacy to collaborate with oDoc offering walk-in customers a unique consultation room to engage inexpert consultations online with a certified medical practitioner, with minimum hassle. This service will be provided free of charge to HealthHub customers for a limited period.
“We want to be more than a pharmacy. The purpose of HealthHub is to be the first line of advice for customers’ primary health and wellbeing needs. We aim to provide the most trusted healthcare service with a positive customer experience every time,” added HealthHub Director Meenal Mahtani.
Transforming the traditional drugstore concept, HealthHub’s trusted pharmacist on duty plays a very human and important role for customers who need health information.
Through HealthHub’s integration with technology, the Pharmacist has easy online access to drug information resources with updated data. As a result HealthHub customers have access to a better-informed pharmacist enabling a positive pharmacy experience with competent product knowledge.
Taking HealthHub to the next level, the on-duty pharmacist will provide free in-store counselling offering customers’ free advice on their health requirements. On-request, monthly prescriptions will also be available for pick up.
Another forward-thinking initiative from HealthHub is partnering with an expert fitness consultant to provide fitness consultations for customers on a pre-booked basis offering professional advice on health, diet and fitness.
