The Aesculap Academy, the global learning division of B. Braun, in partnership with the College of Medical Administrators of Sri Lanka and the Ministry of Health, has launched ‘Lead the Way 2.0’.

This learning program is designed for doctors and medical directors across the island who graduated from its previous intake in 2021 and 2023.

The program will consist of a workshop series focused on sustainable leadership and is a tailor-made learning experience for leaders in the medical fraternity. This is the third intake of this program which has successfully trained and upskilled over 120 doctors over the past years.

‘Lead the Way 2.0’ will comprise three workshops that will be facilitated by an expert corporate panel. This is created to showcase learnings from the corporate sector to participants who struggle within inefficient systems.

The first session of the series was completed recently with the participation of speakers Entrepreneur and 3H Innovations Co-Founder and Director Heminda Jayaweera,  Coca-Cola Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability Regional Director Lakshan Madurasinghe, Shift Group Chief Executive Officer Selconica Perumal, Environmentalist, Conservationist and Philanthropist Mega Ganesh, and B. Braun’s own Managing Director Dr. Nathalie de Dieuleveult.

B. Braun plans to continue to upskill medical practitioners and tackle a migrating workforce whilst introducing progressive thought leadership in the area of health economics, sustainable leadership, productivity, and communication through its groundbreaking ‘Lead the Way’ program.
