The country’s largest and fastest-growing primary care chain Medihelp Hospitals, recently commenced operations at its new healthcare facility in the historically significant city of Kelaniya, thereby marking its entry to the Gampaha District. With its easily accessible, new address at No. 625, Kandy Road, Kelaniya, the fully-fitted primary care centre will cater to the community of Kelaniya and surrounding towns with a broad scope of affordable, high quality healthcare services offered by an experienced, qualified team of consultants and healthcare professionals.
The ceremonial opening, held on 21 January 2023, was attended by University of Kelaniya Faculty of Medicine Dean Prof. Janaki Hewavisenthi, the board of directors and top management of Medihelp Hospitals, along with a host of distinguished invitees and members of staff.
The new four-storey facility houses a fully fitted OPD, ETU, laboratory, pharmacy, and dental clinic as well as facilities and equipment to accommodate x-rays, US Scans, Echocardiography, physiotherapy, optometry services, and specialist consultations. It is made complete with spacious, modern waiting areas and large car park accommodating over 60 vehicles.
All patients are in the care of a highly competent team of qualified and experienced doctors, nurses, paramedics, and support staff, who are geared with the latest equipment and advanced technology to provide an unparalleled portfolio of services.
