Most outstanding graduates with management team
The Nawaloka School of Nursing Graduation and Capping Ceremony 2024 was grandly hosted at the Ambassador Hall of the Nawaloka Specialist Centre, signifying a day of celebration and pride for fresh nursing students who were ceremonially capped, marking a major milestone as they step into the field as healthcare professionals.
Several groups of graduates received notable recognition for their exceptional dedication and commitment to healthcare. The 2020 and 2021 Diploma graduates were commended for their perseverance, remarkable achievements, and unwavering commitment to their studies. The 2023 Nursing Assistant graduates were also honoured as they prepared to begin their professional careers, fully equipped with the knowledge and skills to make a meaningful impact in patient care. Additionally, special recognition was given to the newly capped 2023 Diploma in Nursing students, marking the official start of their careers in nursing. The capping ceremony symbolised their commitment to excellence in nursing as they stepped forward to uphold the values of compassion, professionalism, and quality in healthcare. These milestones reflect the strength and future potential of the healthcare sector, driven by dedicated individuals who are ready to contribute to the well-being of society.
The event was graced by the presence of several prestigious dignitaries, which included the Nawaloka Hospitals PLC Chairman Dr. Jayantha Dharmadasa, Deputy Chairman Anisha Dharmadasa, Director/General Manager Prof. Lal Chandrasena, ICBT Campus Executive Dean/CEO Dr. Sampath Kannangara, Ministry of Health Private Health Sector Development Director Dr. P.G.P.S. Karunarathna, TVEC Director – Registration, Accreditation, and QMS S.U.K. Rubasingha and Sri Lanka Nursing Council President A. Keerthirathna.
