Annual sessions of Anuradhapura Clinical Society from tomorrow

The third Annual Clinical Session of the Anuradhapura Clinical Society will be held from 23 to 25 October at Palm Garden Village Hotel, Anuradhapura. The event is organised jointly with Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA) Foundation Clinical Sessions. The Anuradhapura Clinical Society was established in 2000, with the support of few doctors who worked in Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital. The current President of the society, Dr. Damitha Chandrasena, who is the consultant pediatrician of Teaching Hospital Anuradhapura is organising this event with the support of committee members of the society. The event will open the gates for Rajarata clinicians to update their knowledge with novel advances in subspecialties such as endocrinology, dermatology, psychiatry and gastroenterology. The main target groups are medical officers, dental medical officers, medical students and nurses. The organising committee expects more than 1,000 participants for this event. Minister of Health Maithripala Sirisena will be the Chief Guest of the sessions. Professors and senior consultants of the SLMA will be the main resource persons for this event.
