Brandix i3 Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dr. Jeanne Huddleston addressed a cross section of distinguished guests on ‘The Role of Systems Engineering in Healthcare’ at an event hosted by Brandix i3 recently in Colombo. In her presentation, Dr. Huddleston stressed on the importance of converging IT and process solutions within healthcare to increase the quality of care delivered to patients. As a professional with a medical and engineering background, Dr. Huddleston re-iterated the importance of systems and how they must be intentionally designed to mitigate medical errors and improve patient safety in hospitals. “Brandix i3 has designed, developed and deployed several industry leading software solutions for patient safety, quality compliance and process improvement,” said Dr. Huddleston.
