Rs. 135 m multi speciality 70 bed facility in 2012 acquired private hospital premises

In line with this, a groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion and refurbishment of the proposed 70-bed hospital in Ragama was held under the patronage of Ishara Nanayakkara, Executive Chairman, Browns Group of Companies.
Innovative and patient centric solutions
Browns acquired St. Peter’s Hospital Ragama, a private hospital, late last year and will be refurbishing and expanding it into a fully-fledged multi-specialty 70 bed hospital with an investment of Rs. 1,350 million.
Projected for completion by mid next year, the Browns Hospital envisions to deliver quality and innovative healthcare to every Sri Lankan through comprehensive integrated clinical practice, state of the art facilities and personalised care while aiming to continuously enhance the value proposition to its stakeholders through innovative and patient centric solutions.
Formerly St. Peter’s Hospital was a family owned, 25-bed hospital that had been in operation for over three decades and had established a name for itself in the Gampaha District. The hospital is located strategically across from the Teaching Hospital in Ragama.
The hospital will be equipped to provide curative, preventive and rehabilitative services and key service categories including outdoor care, inward care, specialist care, diagnostics, ambulatory care, etc.
