We also intend to concentrate on and deploy cloud-based solutions that will further assist in our customers enjoying more sophisticated systems at a lower cost. “
Speaking of the plans for the Sri Lankan arm of Cambio, Kraglund stated: “In Sri Lanka we have embarked on a steady course of growth with significant investments in equipment, engineering capacity and skilled workforce. The company’s focus on long-term strategic development and international expansion has already resulted in not only opening a second office in Sri Lanka but also winning projects in new locations such as Greenland.”
He added: “With the strength of our software engineering team in Sri Lanka and our continuing investment in advanced research and development, we plan to drive new opportunities for the healthcare industry. The main aim of our team in Sri Lanka will be to ensure that not only do we continue delivering and offering higher quality and more efficient medical services, shorter lead times in healthcare processes, greater patient safety and participation and lower operation and maintenance costs, but to be an enabler of change and develop systems that will deliver healthcare solutions that can be customised to suite the individual requirements of our customers, that will also meet the changing needs of the industry and provide them with the next-generation healthcare systems that enable higher levels of integration and more functionality. We also intend to expand our customer base and reach, so that many other countries and regions can also benefit from the solutions we offer.”
He concluded: “I believe we are well-positioned to tap new opportunities during this time of technological change. I look forward to working with the entire Cambio team of software developers in Sri Lanka, who has been instrumental in much of the successes our organisation has enjoyed since 2005, as we embark on this exciting journey together.”
