Ceylinco Healthcare promotes importance of routine health checks

Launches ‘Health Screening Month’ for fifth consecutive year Ceylinco Healthcare Services Ltd. (CHSL) has announced its fifth ‘Health Screening Month’ in June, a program conducted annually by the company to promote the concept of routine health check-ups. The company has introduced three special packages with reduced prices for health screening including tests and consultation that will be available throughout the month of June in support of the campaign. The first of these packages comprises of a complete physical examination and tests such as Body Mass Index (BMI), Visual Acuity, Fasting Blood Sugar, Full Blood Count (FBC), Urine Full Report, Lipid Profile, ECG, Blood Group and RH and is priced at Rs. 2,500. Two other packages with more tests, are priced at Rs. 4,500 and 6,000 and include tests for Liver Profile, Blood Urea, C-reactive protein (CRP), S Creatinine and GFR. Those who purchase these packages will be provided with an opportunity to discuss the findings in their reports with a medical officer at the Ceylinco Healthcare Centre. The packages can be obtained by scheduling an appointment. Ceylinco Healthcare Centre Senior Medical Officer Dr. Charuky Weerasuriya said: “The incidence of non-communicable diseases such as diabetes and heart attacks has increased since people are paying less attention to their health.
