Donation of CRRT machine to Lady Ridgeway Hospital

A state of the art CRRT machine was donated to the Lady Ridgeway Hospital in Colombo yesterday under the patronage of first lady Siranthi Wickramasinghe Rajapaksa.

This machine is not currently available at the hospital and is critical in the treatment of patients diagnosed with dengue at critical stages. The donation was made by the Access Group in memory of Seyarra Fernando, aged eight and a half years, who passed way in October 2013. Access Group Chairman Sumal Perera was present at the ceremony as well. The introduction of this latest therapy will ensure the proper treatment of more children, creating a healthier and stronger younger generation for the development of Sri Lanka, Access said.
