The first Joint Commission International accredited hospital in Sri Lanka, Durdans Hospital extended its diagnostics arm Durdans Laboratory Services to a conveniently located spacious location in Bambalapitiya recently. The centre which functions as a sample collection centre for the hospital is located in close proximity to the Bambalapitiya Flats on Galle Road.
Commenting on the opening of the facility Durdans Hospital Executive Vice President Upul Tudawe notes, “Durdans Hospital has a proud history of 20 years in laboratory diagnostics. Throughout this time our emphasis has been to ensure that patients and clinicians get accuracy and reliability as well as convenience through Durdans Laboratory Services. We are indeed pleased to extend our services through this centre in Colombo 4 which will allow patients to submit test samples and collect their reports among other services without having to visit the hospital itself.”
The new location follows the same high quality safety standards synonymous with Durdans Laboratory Services. Highly trained staff ensures the same level of service experienced at the hospital.
Durdans Laboratory Services also hopes to introduce a variety of convenience centered services from their laboratory network including mobile sample collection from patients who are unable to travel to the centre, preventative check-ups for a healthy lifestyle, and issuing consultation appointments in the near future.
