eChannelling gets enjoining orders extended on Dialog, Nawaloka Hospitals

eChannelling Plc has got the two separate enjoining orders on Dialog Axiata Plc and Nawaloka Hospitals Plc extended further at the Commercial High Court.

On 30 September, enjoining orders obtained by E-Channelling PLC against Nawaloka Hospitals PLC were further extended in the Commercial High Court of Colombo by Judge E.A.G.R. Amarasekera

Nithi Murugesu & Associates on behalf of Nawaloka Hospitals PLC, filed statement of objections. High Court Judge further extended enjoining orders already obtained by E-Channelling PLC against Nawaloka Hospitals PLC until 26 October. 

Counsel representing E-Channelling PLC were Nigel Hatch Esq. P. C. with Siroshni Illangage instructed by Indunil Bandara.

The order against Nawaloka Hospitals Plc was restraining the latter from engaging and/or entering into any agreement and/or conducting any business and/or investing and/or having any interest directly or indirectly with any third party in any project or program to obtain services similar or identical to that which e-Channelling provides to the hospital under the agreement dated 4 October 2013, pending the final hearing and determination of the application for the interim injunction. 

On 2 October, enjoining orders obtained by e-Channelling PLC against Dialog Axiata PLC were further extended, in the Commercial High Court of Colombo by Judge E.A.G.R. Amarasekera.

The High Court Judge further extended enjoining orders already obtained by e-Channelling PLC until 23 October.

The enjoining order against Dialog was preventing the latter from utilising confidential information supplied by e-Chanelling to develop and/or commercially launch a rival IT system for customers and/or the public to channel doctors and/or medical professionals through their mobile telephones pending the final hearing and determination of the application for the interim injunction.
