FDI World Dental Federation President in Sri Lanka

FDI World Dental Federation President Dr. Roberto Vianna visits Sri Lanka today upon the invitation of the Sri Lanka Dental Association (SLDA) and under the patronage of Unilever Sri Lanka’s iconic Oral Care Brand Signal.

During his stay in Colombo, Dr. Vianna is scheduled to attend the SLDA Induction Ceremony for 2011 and will also preside over the launch of the second phase of the Sri Lankan oral health improvement partnership between the SLDA and Signal.

This is a part of the global partnership between FDI and Unilever Oral Care which aims to improve oral health on a global scale through encouraging twice daily brushing with a fluoride toothpaste, such as Signal.

With over 30 years of participating and contributing to the FDI and international dental community, Dr. Vianna is a long standing member of the Council and the recipient of several national and international awards for his educational, research and institutional services towards Dentistry. He has been the President of the FDI World Dental Federation since 2009.
