The first Annual General Meeting of the Sri Lanka Chamber of Medical Devices
Industry was held at Grand Monarch, Thalawathugoda recently. It was a great opportunity to build a new dialog and dynamics, as well as multi-level partnerships with all other relevant institutes in the medical industry in Sri Lanka. The chamber was established as a non-profit making body to serve the industry of surgical and medical devices.
Saman Hulangamuwa, the president addressing the gathering said, “Currently we are experiencing the rise of new global players of the industry. A number of players and their individual significance have increased. Therefore it is important that strong, viable and skilful network is a need. We have to move forward, flexible by protecting our state requirements for the benefit of patients in the country.”
