Fortis extends its cardiac expertise in Sri Lanka

Fortis Malar Hospitals Ltd., a subsidiary of Fortis Healthcare Ltd., has taken over operations and management of the Cardiac Centre at Oasis Hospitals Ltd.

Colombo, Sri Lanka. With this initiative, Fortis Healthcare, India’s fastest growing hospital network has expanded its presence in Sri Lanka adding to the existing facilities in India and other countries.

Oasis Hospitals is presently a 170 bedded facility and the plan is to provide tertiary level treatment and care in Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery with the support of Fortis Malar. The rechristened “Fortis Oasis Cardiac Centre” will be one of the best cardiac centres in Sri Lanka. The Centre will have top notch cardiologists and cardiac surgeons of Colombo and India. Moreover high end support in clinical excellence, and experts from Fortis Malar Hospital will also be operating out of the centre. The centre will be fully equipped to cover all aspects of cardiac care ranging from prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitated cardiac care.  

Oasis Hospital offers comprehensive medical services with special focus on Oncology, Opthalmology, General Medicine, Paediatric and Gynecology. Additionally, the hospital offers complete diagnostic services like Radiology and laboratories and has well-equipped operation theatres.
