Gamma Pharmaceuticals launches new tube filling machine

Gamma Phamaceuticals Ltd. installed a new fully-automated cream and ointment tube filling machine at its manufacturing facility at Madapatha Road, Piliyandala. The unit was officially declared open by the Gamma Pharmaceuticals Chairman Kalana Hewamallika recently.
The Italian-made IMA C960 has a filling capacity of 3,600 tubes per hour with high dosing accuracy.
This worker and eco-friendly machine designed to comply with WHO GMP requirements have increased the cream and ointment manufacturing capacity of Gamma Pharmaceutical to about 200,000 tubes per month and offers a better quality product to the nation.
