The largest pharmacy chain in Sri Lanka Harcourts Pharmacy opened its 27th branch at 207, High Level Road, Nugegoda, recently.

The Chief Guest for the opening was Dr. Bernard De Soyza, the senior most physician of Nugegoda. In a brief remark Dr. De Soysa appreciated the fact that Harcourts Pharmacy chain which started with one pharmacy in Dehiwala in the year 1989 had now become the largest pharmacy chain in the country and established a reputation for quality service and customer care.

Chairman of Harcourts Group Ahamed Rheyas in his speech brought out the fact that although pharmacy outlets were not a profitable venture per se, they had intangible benefits like the visibility factor as well as service orientation for an organisation. He stated that three more branches were planned in Nugegoda, one of the busiest of locations.
