Lanka Hospitals partnered with People’s Bank to launch ‘People’s Nirogi’, a unique healthcare plan that offers exclusive benefits for a variety of services ranging up to discounts of 25% to provide an all-in-one healthcare solution for the People’s Bank customer base of over 13 million.
People’s Bank account holders and their immediate family members could avail themselves of the special benefits with the use of their People’s VISA Debit and People’s VISA Credit cards, and receive an opportunity to settle their hospital expenses at Lanka Hospitals pharmacies and laboratories network islandwide, in a cost effective and hassle-free manner through the ‘People’s Nirogi’ healthcare plan.

‘People’s Nirogi’ would provide special discounts and benefits for a wide range of services offered by Lanka Hospitals such as 10% off on room rates, 15% off on all health screening packages, 15% off on lab investigations for both in-patient and out-patients, 5% off on radiology investigations for in-patients and out-patients. Furthermore, excluding professional charges, ambulance expenses would be waived off if within 10 km radius from Lanka Hospitals.
In order to provide a special offer for People’s Bank account holders who are senior citizens, Lanka Hospitals gives special rates on medication purchased from the Lanka Hospitals Pharmacy network, allowing them to purchase vital medicines at a cost-effective rate. Moreover, account holders would receive the opportunity to attend free health seminars to gain further knowledge on medicine and the best healthcare practices.
