One of Sri Lanka’s leading pharmaceutical companies Markss Healthcare, recently signed a partnership agreement with Y.S.P. Industries, Malaysia’s number one pharmaceutical company as the agent to represent their products in Sri Lanka at a ceremony held in Colombo.
Markss Healthcare Managing Director Rajiv Nanayakkara and Y.S.P. Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. General Manager Johnson Ong signed the agreement, which awarded the legal authority to Markss Healthcare to import and distribute the products manufactured by Y.S.P. Industries (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Sri Lanka.
Y.S.P. Industries is one of the world’s most technologically advanced foremost Malaysian based multinational pharmaceutical company, exporting high quality, cost effective products to more than 15 countries in Europe, the US, Middle East and South Asian countries.
The company operates under the worlds latest manufacturing concept ‘current Good Manufacturing Practice’ (cGMP) with a vision of providing high quality products to uplift the human health.
Nanayakkara stating on their latest venture with Y.S.P. Industries said, “Our endeavour is to provide quality drugs to an affordable price to all citizens to support the initiative of the Government to make a healthy nation.
“The other reason was that the quality of the products is up to the international standards and we are able to market the products at an affordable price compared to the competitive drugs available in the market.
He concluded saying, “With the wide distribution network we operate, all Sri Lankans can purchase products of Y.S.P. Industries from anywhere in the island.”
