Nestlé is all set to launch their latest state-of-the-art scientific nutrition innovation in the country, where Sri Lankan mothers and children will soon have access to cutting edge nutrition products.

The super premium product is developed by the Nestlé Research Centre (NRC) in Lausanne, Switzerland, one of the world’s leading research institutions in food, nutrition and life sciences.

Nestlé has the largest R&D network of any food company in the world, with a heritage of over 150 years of research, development and scientific know-how and the world’s premier scientists.

Nestlé Lanka PLC Managing Director Alois Hofbauer states that in line with the company’s ambition to be a leader in Nutrition, Health and Wellness (NHW) – an agenda encapsulated in their corporate promise of ‘Good Food, Good Life’ – it will use the best and latest science in nutrition from their unmatched R&D centres to facilitate next generation, premium child nutrition products for Sri Lankan consumers in the near future.

“Our consumers have always been at the heart of all we do and we continually strive to offer them nothing less than the best. There is a growing awareness of the need for advanced nutritional sustenance for young children during their formulative years. Sri Lankan mothers are becoming increasingly more discerning and are seeking only the very best nutrition for their child. We look forward to serving them through the introduction of cutting edge, nutritional products incorporated with the latest scientific findings.”

Nutrition has been a cornerstone of Nestlé since the company was founded by Henri Nestlé in 1867. Well over a century later, Henri Nestlé’s legacy of quality nutrition and commitment to enhancing consumer’s lives is still very much alive; Nestlé Lanka is a prime mover in the South Asian region to bring the latest science on child nutrition to the market and is confident that this latest development in child nutrition will prove a huge breakthrough for the local market.

“We’re very excited about this new product and are confident that our launch looming near will uphold our global R&D promise of premium quality and nutrition,” added Hofbauer.
