Ninewells Fertility Centre reaches 50% pregnancy rate in IVF in September

Ninewells Fertility Centre renowned as the Ninewells Centre for Assisted Reproduction and Embryology is among the pioneering fertility centres in Sri Lanka. The Ninewells Fertility Centre was initiated along the international guidelines, expertise and specifications which govern fertility centres in Singapore and the United Kingdom. The centre which is situated at the old wing of Ninewells gives clients the required privacy distancing them from other patients of the hospital. This along with the relaxing atmosphere of the newly refurbished and redesigned reception and waiting lounge provides clients the required mental strength. 

The fertility centre is equipped with spacious consultation rooms, superior scanning facilities as well as other facilities that enable patients to obtain blood tests, vaccinations and medications on a common ground. The availability of a range of facilities and services on one floor of the building provides clients the convenience of visiting the clinic while also saving their much valued time. Amongst the many services provided, the Ninewells Fertility Centre houses a well-equipped clinical room for procedures such as IUI (Intra Uterine Insemination) test transfers and more. The clinic also comprises of an Andrology Laboratory and an IVF Laboratory, of which both labs are connected to an operating theatre, enabling IVF procedures to be carried out in the most efficient manner with minimum harm to the quality of embryos.
