PC Pharma partners with India’s Akums

PC Pharma, the pharmaceuticals arm of PCH Holdings, announced their appointment as the sole agents of Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals, an internationally recognised contract manufacturing pharmaceutical company from India. Under this arrangement, PC Pharma has initially launched ten of Akums’ products.

Commenting on the partnership, Akums spokesperson said “Having been present in this market for many years, we have worked with PC Pharma in different capacities in the past. Taking them on board as our sole agent will help us with our aggressive expansion plans for the country. Trusted by pharmaceutical giants from around the world, Akums’ state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities produce a variety of medicinal and other health-related products in almost all dosage forms. The company’s formulation development department has developed number of innovative, technology driven dosage forms such as tablet in a tablet, tablets in capsule, instant and sustained release products and many more. Going beyond manufacturing drugs, the company is also known for its drug testing capabilities.
