Public seminar on ‘Economics of Healthcare in Sri Lanka’

The Sri Lanka Medical Association and the College of Medical Administrators of Sri Lanka will hold a seminar on ‘Economics of Healthcare in Sri Lanka’ on Thursday 22 November 2012, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at the Lionel Memorial Auditorium, No. 06, Wijerama Mw., Colombo 7.

Chairperson of the seminar will be Dr. Palitha Abeykoon, WHO Consultant, Chairman Health Management Committee, SLMA. The panellists are Dr. Palitha Mahipala, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Health, Dr. Anuradhini Kasturiratne, Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Medicine, University of Kelaniya, Dr. Amal Harsha De Silva, PDHS, Western Province, and Dr. Ravi Ranan-Eliya, Executive Director & Fellow, Institute for Health Policy. Discussants will be Dr. Joel Fernando, Member, Health Management Committee, SLMA and Ranel T. Wijesinha – International Management Consultant and Founder, The Thought Leadership Forum.
