Siddhalepa Ayurveda Hospital celebrates 26th anniversary

The Siddhalepa Ayurveda Hospital at Templer’s Road, Mt Lavinia, completed 26 years of service during which it popularised the ancient Sri Lankan Ayurveda both within the country and internationally and provided relief from illness and disease to thousands of patients. The 26th anniversary of Siddhalepa Hospital was marked by a special ‘Bana Ceremony’ graced by the First Lady Shiranthi Wickremasinghe Rajapakse on 30 October at the Templer’s Road premises. Rajakeeya Panditha Darshanapathi Venerable Wathurawila Siri Sujatha thero preached bana. Among the large number present at the occasion was Secretary to the Ministry of Indigenous Medicine Perl Weerasinghe, Siddhalepa Group Chairman Deshabandu Dr. Victor Hettigoda, Board of Directors, managers and staff members.
