Unilever launches improved Signal Herbal

Two of Ayurveda’s well known herbs associated with oral health, moonamalpothu and cloves have been trusted by Sri Lankans for centuries. Herbal extracts like moonamalpothu and cloves are used even today for better oral health. The new Signal Herbal with the combination of moonamalpothu and cloves has a total of eight herbal ingredients and fluoride. “Signal Herbal with its unique formula will help you to get strong teeth and healthy gums,” says Unilever Sri Lanka Category Head – Oral Care Wathsala Aluthgedera. “And the new, improved packaging reflects the dynamism of the new combination.” With more and more people choosing herbal based products, there is a growing demand for toothpaste with herbal ingredients. Traditionally recognised eight herbal ingredients such as moonamalpothu, cloves, together with fluoride is found in new Signal Herbal; these form a unique combination for  the consumers who prefer herbal ingredients in there toothpaste, says Aluthgedera who adds that Signal Herbal has always played a strong role in its appeal to consumers who prefer herbal choices.
