Wellness, lifestyle, healing: Ayurveda Expo 2013 from 12 to 14 July

Ayurveda Expo 2013, the international indigenous healthcare exhibition, organised by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka in partnership with the Ministry of Indigenous Medicine and other Government Institutions, was officially launched recently amidst a large gathering of service providers and manufacturers of indigenous healthcare related products and services.

The mega three-day exhibition will be held from 12 to 14 July 2013 at BMICH, and will be an ideal opportunity to promote products and services to a large number of local and international visitors. Exhibitors will be exposed with their products with an excellent opportunity to promote their brands.

One of the main objectives of this exhibition is to increase the volume of trade and investment on Ayurveda and the native healthcare sector. One to one business meetings will be held during the exhibition for Sri Lankan Ayurveda professionals, businessman and industrialists to meet their counterparts in several other countries.

Spectators will be able to know about indigenous healthcare products, services and treatment methods practiced in Ayurveda and other alternative products.  

The exhibition will focus mainly on wellness, lifestyles and healing through ayurveda, nature friendly health food, Siddha, Unani, acupuncture, yoga, meditation, homeopathy, herbal cosmetic beauty care product, health resorts/spas and a host of other related sectors.

Representatives of ayurvedic hospitals, educational institutes, nursing homes and clinical services of the sector including professional doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists, academics, potential investors and indigenous healthcare product manufacturers and suppliers are expected to participate at the exhibition along with foreign exhibitors and visitors from overseas as well.

Public seminars will also be conducted at the exhibition with well renowned speakers, on the expertise and new products in the indigenous healthcare sector.
