Consider it done

Delegation of tasks in an organisation can happen upwards, downwards and sideways in the hierarchy. A significant amount of management ‘energy’ is ‘sapped-up,’ making sure others do their assigned tasks as per expectation.

Despite investments in technology and training aimed at ‘supporting’ the execution of these tasks, there is no substitute for building a ‘consider it done’ culture, where sincere human diligence and a personal sense of ownership thrives. Unfortunately, that is not a ‘plug and play’ solution! Leaders must live these values if they wish it from their people.
