People cheat/steal for three reasons i.e. desperation, genetic and greed, with the latter having the biggest impact on society. What helps the ‘greedy’ is when there are easy ways to make big money. In business, white collar crime has reached alarming levels. Today sports is big money, so why are we surprised by match fixing? Unless the widening inequality in society is bridged, we will continue to see the higher and more innovative crimes!
