78 graduate from the TAASL training program

The Travel Agents Association of Sri Lanka (TAASL), an affiliate of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, organised a training program for the membership of the association which was conducted by the International Aviation Academy (IAA) of Sri Lankan Airlines Ltd. The four-day training program was carried out in three batches. The objective of this program was to develop skills and knowledge of members and to upgrade the standard of the Industry.

Training was provided in team building, training on GDS (Global Distribution System) systems, customer services, airport formalities, airline geography, baggage handling and code-sharing agreements. The Graduation Ceremony of the Participants of the Training Program was held at the Auditorium of the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (SLITHM) recently. SriLankan Airlines CEO Kapila Chandrasena graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Fazil Amith from Metro Travels (Pvt.) Ltd was awarded as the best student for receiving the highest marks.
