AAP seminar on ‘Appraisal of power’ on 23 March

Academy for Administrative Professionals, will be presenting a one-day seminar workshop on 23 March at Colombo Hilton, to commemorate its 13th anniversary. Appraisal of Power, the workshop is to take a self analysis by attendees, to remedy the weaknesses and to stand high in the professional world.  An effective and well delivered appraisal system can have a dramatic effect on the productivity of employees. Without it people can become de-motivated, apathetic and defensive. 

This workshop reinforces how an administrative professional can gain rapport and trust, provide positive feedback for on-going development and manage any potential change with professionalism ease. This is for those who need to achieve positive results and changes in behaviour. The workshop has carefully been designed for office managers, executives, co-ordinators, personal/executive assistants and secretaries. With the rich experience AAP anticipates over 100 participants and registration will close on 20 March.

Chief Guest Dr. Rohantha Athukorala will deliver the keynote on ‘Challenges for Sri Lanka in 2018 and your role’. Renowned communication specialist Manique Mendis and competent trainer Shamal Fernando will take the participant through an interactive workshop, on own unique way of communication and emotional intelligence respectively.  

AAP has undergone a major restructuring process and the most significant achievement for 2018 is that Administrative Professionals specially secretaries now have a clear path of a MBA through AAP.  It will commence mid this year. AAP invites all administrative professionals to step in to the academy to acquire professional qualifications and the membership.
