In a strategic move to manage the CSE listed entity that has been in existence for over seven decades, leading flexible packaging manufacturing company Acme Printing and Packaging PLC recently announced the appointment of Harith Jayasuriya as its Director/CEO.
In addition, Harith is expected to lead the company’s fully-owned subsidiary Acme Packaging Solutions Ltd. in the same capacity and steer the entire Group into the next tier of growth

Acme Printing and Packaging PLC is one of Sri Lanka’s pioneering manufacturers of flexible packaging, supplying quality packaging material to multinational brands. As an entity that has been in existence for over seven decades, Acme is now ready to accept new technologies and innovate new products in keeping with the paradigm shift that is taking place within the global packaging industry.

With over two decades of business acumen, marketing experience and sales expertise across multiple industries such as freight and logistics, travel and tourism, shipping and aviation, strategic planning, marketing, sales, general management and consultancy, Harith comes from an illustrious career background, having worked for some of the largest organisations.
Prior to his appointment at Acme Printing and Packaging PLC, he was the Group Director/Chief Marketing Officer of MAC Holdings Ltd. and the CEO of MAC Travels Ltd. before being appointed to the Board. He has also served Marine and Air Consolidations Ltd. and Coats Thread Lanka Ltd. in various capacities.
A fellow member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing UK (FCIM-UK), Harith holds a Master’s in Business Administration from University of Wales – Cardiff and an Advance Certificate in Executive Management from the Postgraduate Institute of Management (PIM), Sri Lanka.
Acme Printing and Packing PLC is a subsidiary of Lankem Ceylon PLC. The other members of the Board of Directors are A. Hettiarachchy, S.D.R. Arudpragasam, R. Seevaratnam, A. Rajaratnam, J.M. Swaminathan, M.P.A. Sirimane, P.S. Goonewardene, G.K.B. Dasanayake and A.C.S. Jayaranjan.
