CICRA Campus expands program portfolio with new Business Faculty Degrees

CICRA Campus has announced the launch of four new programs under its newly established Business Faculty: Bachelor of Accounting (Hons.), Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) (Hons.), Bachelor of Business Administration, and the International Foundation Program in partnership with Asia e University, Malaysia.

Approved by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), these programs meet international standards and boost educational opportunities in Sri Lanka.

Asia e University Founder President Prof. Dr. Ansary said that this partnership reflects AeU’s commitment to empowering students in Sri Lanka with internationally recognised qualifications and practical industry experience, thereby enhancing their professional prospects and contributing to the nation’s educational development.

The Bachelor of Accounting (Hons.) combines academic rigour with professional accreditation, offering exemptions from nine ACCA modules and leading to potential recognition as Chartered Accountants by CA Sri Lanka after three years of post-qualification work experience. Students will have internship opportunities with leading audit firms, including Ernst & Young.

The Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) (Hons.) is designed for careers in early childhood education, providing practical industry experience alongside academic studies. Students can gain three years of practical experience by graduation, with lectures scheduled after regular school hours.

The Bachelor of Business Administration offers a cost-effective pathway to a foreign degree in Sri Lanka, opening career opportunities in marketing, sales, logistics, and entrepreneurship. The first cohort will begin in July, with three annual intakes planned.

Students completing Ordinary Level exams can enrol in the International Foundation Program, which serves as a bridge to higher education.

CICRA Campus, a pioneer in Cyber Security education, continues to deliver top-tier international education through partnerships with prestigious universities worldwide, including Deakin University, Wrexham University, Melbourne Polytechnic, and Asia e University. Over the past 13 years, CICRA Campus has specialised in Cyber Security education, producing over 2,500 graduates.

The enduring partnership between CICRA and Asia e University has resulted in approximately 800 graduates from the Executive Master’s program in Information Security and over 250 from the Executive Master’s program in Mass Communication. Asia e University offers a wide range of undergraduate and master’s degree programs in Sri Lanka and has served Sri Lankan students for over a decade.
