AIESEC in University of Colombo, one of the most prominent youth-led organisations at the University of Colombo, will host a virtual panel discussion titled ‘EmpowHER’, led by top female professionals in the fields of business, female entrepreneurship and psychology; on the importance of female empowerment in an era of social distancing.
The session will focus on how to virtualise your business and enhance female entrepreneurship, stimulate creativity whilst keeping yourself motivated and overcome the psychological challenges associated with social distancing. The discussion is intended as a session that would link professionals in the fields of business, entrepreneurship and psychology with the youth of Sri Lanka; in order to inspire, spread awareness and create a network of young female entrepreneurs who could provide innovative solutions to everyday challenges.
The eminent panellists for the evening include Senela Jayasuriya, CEO of Women Empowered Global; Sharmila Dharmarasa Fonseka, Director Programming – TV Derana, and Rasini Bandara, consulting psychologist at Mind Heals Sri Lanka. The session will be moderated by Anuki Premachandra, Strategic Communications Manager at Adfactors PR.
