The Employers’ Federation of Ceylon (EFC) clinched the prize for the ‘Most Informative Stall’ at the recently-concluded National HR Exhibition which unfolded parallel to the National HR Conference (NHRC) organised by the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM). The conference which was held at the BMICH under the banner ‘Radically Reinvented Reality – A New Paradigm for HR’, brought together the members of the local and overseas HR fraternity and delegates representing different sectors.

The National HR Exhibition which was held parallel to the NHRC, provided a platform to showcase the strengths of different solution providers in Human Resource Management. Over 40 stalls representing both local organisations and international HR service providers were brought under one roof through the exhibition.

In her address, National HR Exhibition Chairperson Shiwanthie Wijesuriya remarked that the HR exhibition, while enabling an ideal platform for HR service providers to introduce latest products and solutions, was also an ideal opportunity for the participants to explore solutions aligned with the dynamics of the changing nature of work.

Evaluated by a competent panel of judges, the stalls at the HR Exhibition were judged under three categories; the most informative stall, most innovative stall and most customer-oriented stall. The EFC’s stall was selected as the ‘Most Informative Stall’ in recognition of its relevance of the displays, quality of promotional material, quantity and accuracy of information disseminated at the NHRC.

The EFC stall was a one-stop shop for information related to the EFC’s HR and legal solutions, training and certifications.

The participants also had the benefit of purchasing EFC publications at a special rate at its stall. The success of the EFC is attributed to a committed team effort which is always championed by the organisation.
