EY Sri Lanka strengthens leadership team with two strategic partner appointments

EY has announced the appointment of Balakrishnan Vasanthan and Lakshitha Pradeep Perera as partners, effective from 1 July.

Balakrishnan Vasanthan brings a wealth of experience in the assurance service line at EY, specialising in banking and finance audits. Being part of EY for more than two decades, Vasanthan has significantly contributed to EY Sri Lanka, notably as a senior manager in 2014 and currently as Senior Director. His leadership has been instrumental in overseeing audits for major banks and financial service clients over the past decades.

Lakshitha Perera, who also joined EY over two decades ago, boasts an impressive track record of auditing SLFRS compliance for commercial banks and financial institutions across Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom. During his tenure as a senior director at EY Sri Lanka, Perera’s expertise spans audits, assurance services, risk management, internal control benchmarking, and regulatory reporting within the banking and financial services industry.
