Talentbridge Limited, a leader in training and development, will be conducting a half-day program on essential business networking skills for managers and executives. The facilitator for the program will be motivational speaker and corporate trainer Farill Farook.
Business is all about networking, building relationships and taking action in today’s context. Business networking is the process of establishing a mutually beneficial relationship with other business people and potential clients. Successful networking will help individuals build mutually beneficial relationships, with people inside and outside of the industry, resulting in a network of useful contacts that become one of your company’s most valuable assets.
The aim of networking does not always have to be making money or gaining business cards: sometimes, coming away with information and resources can be the most valuable outcome. Some of the top benefits of business networking are securing new business opportunities, entering into a new market, helping others succeed, and raising your profile.
The workshop will explore many aspects of business, and by the end of the session participants will be aware of the key traits of a successful networker,as well as pitfalls to avoid. They will also understand how to: determine a networking aim; research events; choose who to talk to in order to build a robust network; and maintain healthy relationships. The program will also cover how social media can help in networking successfully.
This program is suitable for business leaders, public relation managers, sales and marketing staff, customer service staff, and anyone who wants to learn more about how to network successfully. The course will help learners of all disciplines understand how to build confidence, start and maintain a conversation, and sustain a network of useful contacts.
The facilitator, Farill Farook, will demonstrate and present a range of business networking techniques, and facilitate participants’ contributions, to ensure an engaging and interactive session. The session will be held on 2 June (Saturday), from 8.30am to 12 noon at the Royal College Skills Centre.
