The Sri Lanka Alumni Chapter of the University of Southern Queensland Australia presents a Continuous Professional Development (CPD) program on 8 November at the Institute of Chartered Accountants Sri Lanka. The session will be conducted by Dialog Axiata PLC Chief Digital Services Officer and wOw.lk CEO Dr. Nushad Perera.

Known as the digital disruptor, Dr. Perera has over 30 years of working experience in operationalising strategy in multiple disciplines and geographies. He led the team that created ‘The Future Today’ in Dialog and has worked in the South East Asian region covering multiple terrains in Malaysia, Indonesia, Nepal and Bangladesh. He was the founder and CEO of Dialog TV, which has now entered over 1.1 million homes in Sri Lanka, pioneered fixed wireless in Lanka Bell and won several awards for brand marketing and strategy. He currently serves as the Chief Digital Services Officer at Dialog Axiata.

He will impart his knowledge of failing fast, his hypothesis of the new era of content and debunk the 50-year old 4P’s theory. Armed with a Doctorate from Malaysia and an MBA from the UK in addition to his working experience, his style of practicing theories aims to open the minds of professionals, gearing them to face an electronic future.
