Global Expansia 1.0 was a semi-virtual event focused on personal branding and the transformative power of global experiences. 

It featured insightful sessions from industry experts, including Barista Sri Lanka CEO Dilupa Pathirana, Ikon Group of Companies CEO Dulinda Perera, public speaking coach and comedian Anderson Haran.

These sessions delved into the intricacies of building a strong personal brand, leveraging digital marketing for professional growth, and mastering the art of public speaking. 

In addition to the expert talks, Global Expansia 1.0 showcased the inspiring journeys of past AIESEC exchange participants. Their first-hand experiences highlighted the immense value of global volunteering, internships, and teaching opportunities.

The event garnered positive feedback from attendees, who praised the informative and engaging sessions. Many expressed how the insights gained will be invaluable in shaping their professional careers.

Global Expansia 1.0 was a testament to AIESEC’s commitment to empowering young individuals. By providing a platform for knowledge sharing and inspiration, AIESEC continues to play a vital role in shaping the future leaders of Sri Lanka.

AIESEC in the University of Kelaniya focuses on developing future leaders with a history of over 20 years starting operations in 1998. As an organisation it shapes members’ leadership attributes by encouraging active participation in volunteer efforts and other impactful activities. Beyond the local context, AIESEC in the University of Kelaniya also provide opportunities for youth to volunteer and intern overseas, gaining global exposure in the process.
