In a dynamic collaboration with Mastercard, Great Place to Work Sri Lanka recently concluded ‘Mastering Greatness – Brains & Brawn,’ an invigorating team challenge event aimed at sparking resilience and enhancing teamwork within organisations which was designed by G360 and Cherish. Held on 18 February, the event united over 32 teams, each consisting of five members, representing a multitude of companies across Sri Lanka. ‘Mastering Greatness – Brains & Brawn’ was meticulously crafted to immerse participants in an adventurous journey throughout Colombo, assessing their cognitive agility, physical aptitude, and capacity for seamless collaboration as a cohesive unit.
The participants faced a series of challenges meticulously designed to push their problem-solving prowess, decision-making finesse, and resource utilisation to the limit as well as to foster lightning-fast thinking and impeccable execution, setting the stage for a whirlwind of adrenaline-fueled action. Emphasising the pivotal role of communication in team triumph, the event also provided an arena for honing communication skills amidst the pressure of time-sensitive scenarios.
Claiming the prestigious title of Mastering Greatness Champions was Team Halal Accreditation Council from the eponymous company, followed closely by the 1st Runner Up – Team Acuity Aces, representing Acuity Knowledge Partners. Securing the 2nd Runner Up position was The B-Team from Just In Time Technologies Ltd.
Recognising outstanding teamwork, the Best Teamwork Award was presented to Team FAME 4.0 from Union Assurance PLC, while the Best Cheering Squad Award was deservedly earned by Just In Time Technologies Ltd. Additionally, the accolade for the Best Decorated Vehicle went to Team Royal Crusaders from Imperial Tea Exports Ltd., further highlighting the diverse talent and contributions celebrated at the event.Top of Form
The event received support from various partners, including Union Assurance PLC, Cinnamon Colombo Hotels, Emerging Media, EFM, Nolimit, Lumala, Melsta Hospitals Ragama, and AmCham, whose contributions were instrumental in making the event a resounding success.
